Every November, wine lovers celebrate the brilliant young wine known as Beaujolais Nouveau that goes from field-to-bottle-to table in only two months and produces the loveliest pinky-purple hue. Nouveau is the name given to the first wine of the vintage. The style originated out of Beaujolais, just south of Burgundy where they make wines from Gamay Noir using the technique carbonic maceration.
But Beaujolais, the region, is SO MUCH MORE than the fresh Nouveau that floods store shelves and glasses of eager wine lovers on the 3rd Thursday of November!
Allow us to show you how and why. Register for this evening event and discover a fantastic introduction to the various Crus and styles of this diverse region.
Rendezvous at the Berkshire Botanical Garden on Friday November 17 @ 6pm.
Guests will enjoy a culinary celebration of the region with a hand-selected, chef-curated tasting menu while a guest wine expert walks you through every flavor and dimension of this world-famous wine region. A night you won’t forget!
