Established in 2021, Dare Bottleshop & Provisions is a family-owned business located at 11 Housatonic Street in Lenox, Massachusetts, in the heart of Berkshire County.

We are a fine wine shop championing small wine estates from around the world, growers that work their vineyards in ways that respect the land and make wines of excellence. These are human-scaled wineries, crafting small-production low-intervention wines made with love for taste and the environment.

We’re proud retailers of an exciting selection of craft beers and artisanal ciders made by brewers and farmers in the Northeast region of the US. Our extensive pantry shelves and fridges are stocked with unique, delicious products designed to transform your dining table into your favorite restaurant and add a touch of extra joy to every meal and gathering!

We source a diverse collection of vibrant and classically-inspired glassware, pantry-hero condiments, tinned fish, olive oil, and more from across the country and around the globe. We cherish our relationships with the incredible people behind these products and can’t wait for you to experience their exceptional goods.

At our core, we’re not just small business owners—we’re deeply rooted in and committed to the community we call home. Giving back and staying involved is an important part of who we are and how we run our business.

Ben serves on the Board of Directors of Roots Rising, supporting youth empowerment through meaningful work in agriculture. Mary is actively engaged across several local organizations: she serves on the Board of Directors of the Lenox Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Lenox Library Association, and sits on the Board of Trustees of Hancock Shaker Village. She also volunteers her time on committees for local nonprofits such as Community Access to the Arts and Naumkeag.
